Clockwise Teams allow you to group colleagues you work with the most to ensure you stay up to date on their availability and bandwidth. Each team can have a maximum of 50 users at this time.

Creating a new team
Click on the Menu -> Your Teams then click Create Team.
Enter the name of your team and add your colleagues. If your colleague is not on Clockwise yet, adding them to your team will send them an invite. You can tell which of your coworkers is already using Clockwise by the blue checkmark on top of their avatar.
Joining an existing team
- Click on your Menu and navigate to Your Teams.
- Click New Team
- Click on the Join Team tab
- You'll see the teams that already exist, in order of relevance to you. If you don't see the team you want to join, you can search for it manually
- Select the team you want to join and click Join Team
💡Note: If you are having difficulty finding a team or are unable to join a team in Clockwise, that team may have been created by someone with a different email domain than yours or the team no longer exists in Clockwise. Please verify with that team before contacting support for further assistance.
Managing your team
Now that you've created or joined an existing team, you can manage it as well. Check out the details of each tab below:
Teammates Tab:
To add new teammates to your team, follow these steps:

- Navigate to the Teammates tab
- Click Invite new teammate
- Search for the user you'd like to add
- Click Invite
To Remove yourself or teammates from your team:
- Hover over the user's name
- Click on the trash can icon
Pending Invites Tab
You can check to see who still hasn't responded to your Clockwise invite and send them a reminder.
Your Settings
- You can choose whether or not to subscribe to your team's availability calendar.
- These changes will only apply to you and will not impact the views of your teammates.
- Your OOO and WFH events will still be synced to your team's calendar
- You can choose whether or not to apply the team no-meeting day to your schedule.
- These changes will only apply to you and will not impact scheduling for your team.
- If you have a 1:1 with a member of your team that has kept this no meeting day setting on, Clockwise will respect your colleague's team settings and avoid scheduling on the designated day.
Manage the Team
Here you can:
- Update the Team name
- Turn on team features, including:
- Team availability calendar
- Sync team availability calendar
- Sync team availability calendar to Slack
- Manage Team availability calendar to Slack sync settings
- Team no meeting day
- Choose which day to avoid meetings
- Choose whether you'd like to send an auto-reply when internal colleagues schedule on your elected no meeting day.
- Team availability calendar
- Delete the Team
- NOTE: Deleting the team will delete the team for everyone.
Primary teams vs secondary teams
We understand that you can be a part of multiple teams at work. Clockwise for Teams differentiates between these groups by denoting your primary team and your secondary teams. There can only be one primary team, all other teams that you're a part of will be regarded as secondary. Primary and secondary teams have different capabilities:
Primary team
- You can only have one primary team
- You will receive updates on teammates that are out of the office in your Clockwise feed, your week in review email, and Slack
- You will receive updates on teammates that are low on Focus Time in your Clockwise feed and your week in review
- You can access Team Analytics on Focus Time, meeting time, and fragmented time for your teammates
- You can subscribe to the team availability calendar that automatically syncs your teammates' OOO and WFH events
Secondary teams
- You can have up to 4 secondary teams
- You can access Team Analytics on Focus Time, meeting time, and fragmented time for your teammates
- You can subscribe to the team availability calendar that automatically syncs your teammates' OOO and WFH events
