  3. Enter the name of your team.
  4. Add your colleagues by selecting the checkbox to the right of their name.

  5. Click Create team.

Joining an existing team

  1. Click Create or join under the More section on the left-hand navigation bar.

  2. Click Join team.

  3. You'll see the teams that already exist, in order of relevance to you.  If you don't see the team you want to join, you can search for it manually.
  4. Select the team you want to join and click Join team.

Note: If you are having difficulty finding a team or are unable to join a team in Clockwise, that team may have been created by someone with a different email domain than yours or the team no longer exists in Clockwise. Please verify with that team before contacting support for further assistance.

Changing your primary team

You can change your primary team by navigating to any of your Teams you're a member of by navigating to the More section on the left-hand navigation bar and clicking Change primary team in the upper right corner.

Managing your team

Now that you've created or joined an existing team, you can manage it as well.

Here you can:

    • Update the Team name
    • Turn on team features, including:
      • Team availability calendar
        • Sync team availability calendar
        • Sync team availability calendar to Slack

        • Choose which day to avoid meetings
        • Choose whether you'd like to send an auto-reply when internal colleagues schedule on your elected no meeting day.
    • Delete the Team

Note: Deleting the team will delete the team for everyone. This action will remove everyone on the team. This cannot be restored or undone. The team will need to be recreated if deleted by mistake.

Team Settings

    • You can choose whether or not to subscribe to your team's availability calendar.
      • These changes will only apply to you and will not impact the views of your teammates.
      • Your OOO and WFH events will still be synced to your team's calendar
    • You can choose whether or not to apply the team no-meeting day to your schedule.
      • These changes will only apply to you and will not impact scheduling for your team.
      • If you have a 1:1 with a member of your team that has kept this no meeting day setting on, Clockwise will respect your colleague's team settings and avoid scheduling on the designated day.

Primary teams vs secondary teams

We understand that you can be a part of multiple teams at work. Clockwise for Teams differentiates between these groups by denoting your primary team and your secondary teams. There can only be one primary team, all other teams that you're a part of will be regarded as secondary. Primary and secondary teams have different capabilities:

Primary team

    • You can only have one primary team
    • You will receive updates on teammates that are out of the office in your Clockwise feed, your week in review email, and Slack
    • You will receive updates on teammates that are low on Focus Time in your Clockwise feed and your week in review
    • You can access Team Analytics on Focus Time, meeting time, and fragmented time for your teammates
    • You can subscribe to the team availability calendar that automatically syncs your teammates' OOO and WFH events
    • Your team's No Meeting Day will be respected and reflected in your calendar

Secondary teams

    • You can have up to 4 secondary teams
    • You can access Team Analytics on Focus Time, meeting time, and fragmented time for your teammates
    • You can subscribe to the team availability calendar that automatically syncs your teammates' OOO and WFH events
