Creating a new team
Before creating a new team, consider the following:
- Does this team already exist?
- For more information on how to join existing teams, click here.
- Should this be your primary team?
- For more information on the difference in features for your primary and secondary teams, click here.
To create a brand new team, click on the Menu>Your Teams then click New Team.
Consider the name of your team and who you'd like to invite. Note, if your colleague is not on Clockwise yet, adding them to your team will send them an invite. You can tell who is already using Clockwise by noticing the blue checkmark on top of their avatar.
Note: A team can have a maximum of 50 users at this time.
Joining an existing team
If your organization has multiple Clockwise users, there is a good chance that a team you belong on, already exists. Here is how to check if teams have already been created and how to join those teams.
Click on your Menu and navigate to Your Teams. Click New Team:
Click on the Join Team tab, here you'll see the teams that already exist ordered by how relevant these teams may be to you. If you don't see the team you want to join, you can search for a team name. Select the team you want to join and click Join Team.
Note: A team can have a maximum of 50 users at this time.

- Your OOO and WFH events will still be synced to your team calendar, this only impacts your calendar view
- If your team has designated a day of the week as a no meeting day but you don't want to avoid scheduling on that day, you can disable this setting for yourself.

- If you have a 1:1 with a member of your team that has kept this no meeting day setting on, Clockwise will respect your colleague's team settings and avoid scheduling on the designated day.
